Candy Corn Puffs

2 Bags Butter Flavor Corn Puffs (like Cheetos but butter flavored)

1 lb butter

1/4 tsp salt

2 cups sugar

2 TBSP Karo Syrup

6 TBSP Hot Water

Bring to boil and cook to hard crack stage-Stir constantly so butter doesn't burn

Candy Thermometer reads 260 to 270 degree- or hard Crack

should be the Carmel color

Pour over Corn Puffs and stir until all puffs are coated

Pour out on wax paper to cool

Should be crunchy
